Practice with Purpose
ROSE CITY YOGA FEATURED IN NATIONAL BRAND CAMPAIGN! Check it out here!
Rose City Yoga was chosen to participate in Athleta's national ad-campaign to showcase how we are using yoga to impact the community of Pasadena. We currently provide yoga to the kids at Club 21, a local non-profit organization that provides educational tools and resources that enable individuals with Down syndrome to be fully included.
Rose City Yoga began partnering with Club 21 in 2015. Our yoga class helps create the space for the kids to implement the skills they have learned at Club 21 and apply them in a group setting where they can discover what they are capable of while bonding with their peers at the same time.
It is very inspiring for us as teachers to watch them grow in their practice. They don't hold any attachment to what the poses are "supposed" to look like, and they show up to every class ready and willing to deepen their practice every time.
If you are a local organization looking for a yoga program that fits your outreach needs, we want to hear from you! If you are a yogi or just love building community, we need you! Let your practice have purpose. There are many ways you can invest in your community. To find out how you can foster community in Pasadena, email us at: email@example.com
While we wait to find our permanent home, we are offering classes at our temporary location in Pasadena. You can find us on the second floor of Rose City Church located at 1801 E. Del Mar Blvd. Pasadena, CA 91106

In the past, we have partnered with The Foundation for Living Beauty, an organization providing support and resources for women who have battled cancer or are currently battling cancer.
Yoga is an excellent tool for anyone battling cancer. It can be a therapeutic experience both physically and emotionally. Because cancer is physically taxing on the body, it is important for the yoga teacher to be educated in the proper way to lead a practice for those who are battling cancer.
Although we are not trained in yoga for cancer, we wanted to show our support by raising awareness and money for the Foundation for Living Beauty at our "Rose City Summer Solstice Festival" where hundreds of yogis gathered together to show their support for the women at the Foundation for Living Beauty through a day of yoga.

Rose City Yoga provides kids yoga to the kids during their Club Fun program. Yoga helps empower the kids to feel confident in their bodies. It also helps strengthen their core to help them stay more engaged in everyday life.
We are so honored and inspired by their dedication and positive attitude to embrace their practice with non-attachment.
